Oil Sponge will absorb up to eight times more oil or oil based products than clay (kitty litter) and is a preferred hydrocarbon absorbent.Oil Sponge is the only known absorbent being manufactured today that has been inoculated with hydrocarbon eating bacteria (microbes) and nutrients.

These natural microbes then biodegrade both itself and the oil by means of bioremediation.Oil Sponge is especially efficient on floors where a safe (no sheen), quick and cost effective cleanup is required.

• Oil Sponge is as effective as Recycled Pulp and Peat Moss at half the cost.

• Oil Sponge is as effective as Polypropylene at a 10th of the cost.
