| Action TOILET SMART contains microorganisms, both bacteria and fungi, specially selected for their ability to degrade faecal waste and paper. The degradation action of the microbes is enhanced by a cocktail of macro and micronutrients. PH regulators also create optimum conditions in the pit for microbial activity. Rapid microbial action and liquefaction of the pit contents helps to eliminate foul odours and discourages the feeding and egg - laying activities of flies. Dosage & Application Empty 1 sachet into a 5 litre bucket of water. When the contents have finished fizzing, swirl the contents and empty into the latrine. As a guide, one sachet per four people should be added per month. If the level in the pit is high, the dosage can be doubled for a shock treatment. Composition TOILET SMART is a compound of nutrients, conditioning agents, starter enzymes and selected strains of microorganisms able to degrade faecal waste and paper. Safety The microorganisms in Toilet Smart conform to The European Federation of Biotechnologies (EFB) Class1. This class contains microorganisms which have never been described as causal agents in human or animal illness and which pose no threat to the environment. Notes Store away from heat and humidity. Keep out of the reach of children. The bacteria and fungi in Toilet Smart have some protection from bleaches and disinfectants. However, to get the best results from your Pit Latrine or Long Drop, no other cleaning, disinfecting or acid products should be added.
